Youth Sewing
Studio Stitch students learn how to become confident sewing machine operators, work with sewing tools, and read pattern instructions in a cheerful and creative studio space. Your child will learn to sew in a patient and positive teaching environment with a small teacher/student ratio. Studio Stitch provides all sewing machines and basic sewing supplies. Youth Sewing classes are offered to boys and girls age to 7-16.
Classes are held for 1h 15m per week. Youth Sewing sewing classes follow the Atascadero Unified School District Calendar for Holidays and school closures.
Homeschoolers Sewing
Home School students come and socialize and work on sewing projects with other like minded sewers. Studio Stitch students learn how to become confident sewing machine operators, work with sewing tools, and read pattern instructions in a cheerful and creative studio space. Your child will learn to sew in a patient and positive teaching environment with small teacher/student ratio. Studio Stitch is an approved Heartland Vendor. We provide all sewing machines and basic sewing supplies.
Home-school sewing classes are offered to boys and girls age 7-16. Classes are held for 1h 15m per week. Home-schooler's sewing classes follow the Atascadero Unified School District Calendar for Holidays and school closures.
Summer Camps & Workshops
Summer Sewing Camps offer boys and girls age 8-16 the opportunity to learn and hone sewing skills, make quality projects to last for years, all while making new friends.
Each camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00-12:00

All sewing machines and basic sewing supplies are provided by Studio Stitch. Many camp fees include all materials and notions. A different sewing project is featured each week of camp. Students are taught by a qualified and licensed sewing teacher and will learn:
- Sewing machine skills
- How to read a pattern
- How to layout/cut a pattern
- Pattern assembly
- Skills to last a lifetime
About
in 2005, after a 19 year teaching career in the elementary classroom Meg Roberts decided to redirect her love of teaching and combine it with her passion for sewing and opened Studio Stitch. Since its inception, Meg has taught hundreds of children, teens and adults the art and skill of sewing.
